LEVANT - Michelle Denise (Brown) Lecorps, 44, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness June 23, 2024. She was born April 14, 1980, in Bangor, Maine, the daughter of Fred H. Brown & Sonya M. (Gustafson) Brown.
Michelle was raised in Glenburn where she was involved in multiple sports & activities over the years that she excelled at. She was a graduate of Bangor High School, Class of 1998. After graduating, she moved to New York where she met her husband, Greg, and started her family. After the birth of her second child, she then returned to Maine. She attended Eastern Maine Community College, and also took various courses throughout the years. Michelle recently worked in Home Health care.
Michelle always wanted to be a mom. She and Greg had 9 children whom she had a very tight bond with, and was very proud of them. She is loved, and will be missed by all of them greatly. She was also very involved in the farming community over many years, and had social connections with many people who have been so supportive to her family during this difficult time. Many have described her as an amazing person, as she worked hard to be a good person, and tried hard to take care of her family.
In addition to her parents, Michelle is survived by her husband of 21 years, Greg, her nine beautiful and precious children, Jayden, Eric, Brandon, Juliana, Isaac, Isabella, Eva, Isaiah and Noah; brother, Matthew T. Brown, of Fayville, Massachusetts; mother and father-in-law, Ronel and Yolette Lecorps, of Melbourne Florida; sister-in-law, Siena and her husband, Jessie Orhelein; brother-in-law, Fabrice Lecorps, all of Spring Valley, New York and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Michelle was predeceased by her grandparents, Warren & Eleanor Gustafson and Thomas & Madeline Brown, all of Bangor, and “Auntie” Thelma M. Woodbury who was a very special aunt to Michelle.
Michelle was always willing to help others, and often put their needs before her own. She will be missed by so many, most of all her family.
Friends and Family are welcome to join in a celebration of Michelle’s life on Saturday August 17, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Advent Christian Church, 2141 outer Broadway, Bangor Maine with Rev. David Gardiner Officiating. Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com.
