Bangor - Miguel Antonio “Migz” Garcia passed away unexpectedly on April 11, 2020, at the age of 45 at his home in Bangor. He’s gone home to be with his family: his grandfather, Robert Joseph Garcia and Marlene Ann “Ma B” Bernaiche; his brother, William “Billy” Bernaiche and his father, Miguel Antonio Rosa.
Miguel was a skilled carpenter. He enjoyed UFC fighting, motorcycles and spending time with loved ones. When he entered a room, he just had a way about him that commanded a certain presence - be it his walk, his demeanor or that amazing genuine smile. Although he had many struggles along the way, he always took the time to help those who were near and dear to his heart and always stood up for what he believed was right.
Miguel is survived by the love of his life, Jenelle Evans - the mother of his only child, William Robert Garcia, the apple of his eye - his pride and joy. Although his time was cut short with his son, Miguel was an amazing Dad. Miguel leaves behind his brothers, Peter J. Bernaiche of Brewer, Antonio Rosa of Braintree and RaShawn Alexander Garcia; his sisters, Marie (Re-Re Bernaiche) Huckabey of Bangor and Marilee Colon of Attleboro; his mother, Kandice Garcia; his uncles, Michael Garcia and Joseph Garcia; his godmother, Diane Lopes Flaherty - whom he adored; nieces and nephews - Angela, Justine, Sammy, Chris, Fred, Peter, Isaiah, and John, countless relatives from the Cape and beyond as well as new and solid life-long friends who he considered to be more than just a friend - they were considered family as many referred to or called him “Uncle Migz”.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date and time yet to be determined.
