Mildred Jean (Lennan) Harriman died March 19, 2020, in Bangor, Maine. She was born in Carter’s Point, New Brunswick, Canada, to Arnold and Elizabeth (Dunnett) Lennan on October 26, 1924. Predeceased by husband, Carleton F. Harriman, parents, and five siblings, she is survived by three daughters, Barbara (Peter) Chase, Janet Giles (Mark Murchison)and Sue (Dana) Stairs, along with five grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, one sister, Marion Hamilton of New Brunswick, one sister-in-law, Ethel Harriman of Old Town, and many nieces and nephews. Her daughters thank the staff at Ross Manor for their thoughtful care. Out of respect for the current state of emergency, a graveside service will be held for immediate family only at Mount Hope Cemetery with Deacon Peggy Day of St. Patrick’s Church officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church, 21 Holyoke Street, Brewer, Maine 04412.
