Mildred Webster

Brewer - Mildred “Milly” Webster, 86, passed away on April 5, 2015 from related health issues. She was born on January 24, 1929 to William and Myra (Maddocks) Gillis of Danforth, Maine. Milly loved putting together puzzles, knitting, crocheting and taking day trips around Maine. She married Carlton “Shorty” Webster in 1946 upon his return from the U.S. Army in WWII. They resided in Bangor, and raised three children. She is survived by a son, David and his wife Linda Webster of Hermon, a daughter, Nancy and her husband Jim Ashe of Orono, and son-in-law, Richard Maheu of Bucksport. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by her loved ones and good friends, Trudy and Shirley. She was predeceased by her parents, her dear husband, Carlton, on May 2, 1997, and loving daughter, Sharon Maheu, on March 1, 2015. Milly’s family would like to thank the staff of Woodlands Assisted Living for the wonderful care and compassion that they showed her and her family.
Committal Services will be at the Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Augusta, Maine later in the spring.
