Milton F. Florest Jr., of Frankfort, Maine, 80. Passed away July 30, 2024, after a brief battle with cancer.
Born to Sophie & Milton F. Florest Sr. in April 1944, and raised in Walpole, Massachusetts. After living in Massachusetts for many years, he retired to Frankfort, Maine where he enjoyed many beautiful sunrises and sunsets from his home overlooking the Penobscot River. He is survived by Ann, his wife of 53 years and two children Daniel (Arizona) and Stephanie (Walpole, MA). He also leaves behind two grandchildren Christian and Haley (Walpole, MA), a brother Gene (Arizona), as well as nieces and friends.
He was a student of life, always learning and curious about the world. His passion for learning extended into various career avenues as a mechanical engineer, machinist, artist and business owner. Decades of owning his business Tooling Research, Inc allowed him the opportunity to assist many people in the community and to solve problems, two areas he was passionate about. His quick wit and sharp sense of humor that was so uniquely his own will be missed by his family and friends.
