Nancy Leavitt

Nancy R. Leavitt passed away peacefully on September 13th, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born April 17th, 1938, the daughter of Matthew A. and Beulah (Shirley) White.
Nancy enjoyed many things, from watching the horse races and going to horse shows, playing card games with her sisters on game nights, going to the fairs, and loved watching sports. She also enjoyed fishing. She worked as a CNA for many years. Her main love though was her family, she enjoyed spending time with them and giving them her sassiest comebacks whenever she could. She was also a foster grandparent throughout her years.
She is survived by her children; Rodney and his wife, Robin White, Donnie Wardwell, Matthew Wardwell and his wife, Kris Paternoster, Bill Wardwell, Nancy Ridgeway, and Charlene Leavitt; her sister, Cynthia Davis; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her beloved daughter, Donna Sutherland; her sisters; Elizabeth “Betty” Hotham and Shirley Libby.
