GLENBURN - Nancy S. Staib, 88, died peacefully at home on January 29, 2022, with her family by her side. She was born January 2, 1934, in Manhattan, NY, the daughter of Michael and Onelia (Vasquez) Cooper.
Nancy loved playing bingo at the Orono American Legion and visiting Hollywood Slots. She was a pianist and played at Carnegie Hall.
She is survived by her children; Michael and Cindy Dean, of Spring Valley, CA, Deborah Dean and Jeffrey Savage, of Bangor, and Jennifer and Mark Theriault, of Glenburn; grandchildren, Michelle Dean, Jeremy and Laurie Scott, Christopher Dean, Kenny Dean, Denise and Shane, Nicole and Bryon Williams of Yarmouth, W.J. Scott of Bangor, Anthony and Emily Theriault of Hampden, Brianna and Owen Johnson of Scarborough, Samantha McNaughton of Bangor, and Breana Parga; many loving great-grandchildren, Zachary, Taylor, Samantha, Shana, Brett, Keira, Grayson, Skyler, Scarlett, Harley, and Ophelia; other loving family, Patricia, Jan, and Patrick.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Richard Staib; first husband, Henry E. Dean; and other family, David Theriault.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 10-11 a.m. Friday, February 4, 2022, at Brookings-Smith 133 Center St., Bangor where a funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Spring interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor.
