BANGOR - Nancy Hope Williams died on August 23, 2020, at age 98. From Worcester, Mass., her parents were Robert L Fuller and Luella Morrow. She was predeceased by her second husband, Albert S. Scoville of Lubec, Me.
Nancy will be remembered for her resilience, lively social nature, sense of humor and for being the owner of Nance's Crackers, known affectionately as "Nance the cracker lady." She was a loving mother, a loyal wife, a volunteer in the community, and a member of St John's Episcopal Church and loved Maine saying often "There is no other place to be."
A special thanks to St John's Episcopal congregation, Mother Rita, Nance's Cracker customers, the Maine Veterans' Home staff and Northern Lights Hospice team for the friendship, love, and good care of her in the final years and days.
Surviving are a daughter, Stevens Williams of Philadelphia, PA.
