Nina Stormann

BANGOR – Nina J. Stormann, 86, passed away peacefully November 3, 2021, at a local hospital. She was born July 26, 1935, in Dover-Foxcroft, the daughter of Walter L. and Helen C. (Perkins) Smart.
Nina grew up in Orono. After a chance encounter at a local roller rink with Merton Stormann, they soon married. They raised a family in Bangor and celebrated sixty years of marriage. Nina enjoyed roller skating, dancing, knitting, crafting, and nights out with Merton.
Nina is survived by her daughters, Wanda Parker and her husband, Michael, of Old Town, Cindy Hubbard and her husband, Rick Genovese, of Exeter; granddaughter, Candace Skillin and her husband, Donald, of Bucksport; great-granddaughter, Autumn; a special grand-nephew, Forrest Mulheron; and many other nieces, nephews, and family members.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00PM, Friday, November 12, 2021, at Riverside Cemetery, Bennoch Rd., Orono. Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com.
