Norma Craft

March 31, 1942 — July 27, 2020

Bangor – Norma Craft, 78, died on July 27, 2020 at a Bangor hospital. She was born March 31, 1942 in Eagle Lake, Maine, the daughter of Jean Baptiste and Katherine (Deschaines) Thibeault.

Norma graduated from Old Town High School in 1960. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, traveling and reading her books. Norma loved going on cruises. Some of her favorite places to go were Atlantic City, Foxwoods, Mystic CT, and Newport, RI. Her hobbies included puzzles and reading books.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving companion of many years, Richard Burgess; brothers, Nelson, Richard, Sylva, and Carroll; sisters, Betty and Joan; son-in-law, James Kilburn.

Norma is survived by her four children, Catherine of Greenville, Christopher of Rockwood, Ellie of Bangor, and Cory of Bangor; grandchildren, Jamie, Jessica, Jacob, and Heather; one great grandchild, Conner; two adopted great grandchildren, Olivia and Noah who loved to call her Norma.

She is also survived by her three sisters, Jackie, Irene, and Rachel; four brothers, Robert, Pete, Maurice, and Bertrand; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Norma will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

The family invites relatives and friends to call from 5-8:00 p.m. Saturday August 1, 2020 at Brookings-Smith 133 Center St., Bangor.
