GLENBURN - Orrin P. Wilson, 83, passed away April 28, 2024, at a Bangor healthcare facility. He was born October 20, 1940, in Glenburn, the son of the late Raymond and Inez (Clark) Wilson.
Orrin was a lifetime resident of Glenburn and served his town in many capacities. He served on the Glenburn Volunteer Fire and Ambulance for over 20 years, and was a Little League coach for 9 years. He worked for the local shoe factories and retired from Lemforders in 2002, after 13 years. In his spare time, Orrin was an avid hunter.
Surviving Orrin, are his loving wife of over 63 years, June (Knowles) Wilson; son, Mark Wilson and his wife, Carol; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Richard and Dallas Wilson.
The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments to celebrate Orrin’s life from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor.
