PALM BEACH GARDENS, FLORIDA AND BANGOR, MAINE - Pamela “Pam” Gail Kitchen, 76, died unexpectedly April 14, 2022, at a Bangor Hospital. She was born March 22, 1946, in Portland, Maine, the daughter of Clifton and Elfie Carlisle.
Pam graduated from Ellsworth High school, Class of 1964. She went on to study Secretarial Sciences at Husson College. After retiring from a long career with New England Telephone Co., Pam spent many years traveling with her husband, Wayne. Their many adventures led them to finally settle in Port Orange, FL. Always the "camp director", Pam was happiest when planning and catering family functions with “the girls”, or hosting friends and family who visited Florida on vacation. To know Pam, was to love her, she loved music and dancing, and made new friends everywhere she went, and she welcomed you into her family. She will be missed.
Pam is survived by her sons, Rick and his wife, Kathy, of Hampden, Maine; and their sons, Jeremy, Donald, Cameron, and Jason; Rob and his wife, Bridgette, and their children, Zachary and Gabby; sister, Diane Partridge, of Ellsworth, Maine; and many beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Wayne; her brother, Tyler Carlisle; brother-in-law, George Partridge; and dear cousins, Gerald Swett and Karen Rogers.
The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments 2-4 p.m., Sunday, May 1, 2022, at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St.
