Patricia E. Denner

GARNER, N.C. AND BANGOR, ME. - Patricia E. Denner died after a long illness with Alzheimers/Dementia March 21, 2022, at a Garner, North Carolina nursing facility. She was born January 29, 1937, in Bangor, the daughter of John E. and Therma M. (Perry) Fox.
Patricia graduated from Bangor High School, Class of 1955. During her senior year, she went to a USO dance in Bangor and met Airman Robert Denner. They married the following January and celebrated 66 years together this year. Patricia was an avid genealogist becoming a member of both the Daughters of the Revolution and The Mayflower Society.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, Robert are her sons, Wade, of Waldo, Robert and his wife, Ait, of D’Iberville, Mississippi; daughter, Leanne and her husband, Roger, White of Garner, North Carolina, previously from Brewer; seven grandchildren, Kristie Denner, of Bangor, Gail Vaillancourt and her husband, Matt, of North Yarmouth, Jason Denner, of Mobile, Alabama, Vicky Denner and her fiancé, Marcello Martello, of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, Alex White, of Houston, Texas, Eric White and his, wife Whitney, of Garner, North Carolina, Tyler White and his wife Larissa, of Clayton, North Carolina; and 2 great grandchildren, Lukas Martello and Simon White. In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her two sisters, Madeline Sullivan and Claryce Hoskins.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday April 2, 2022, at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Bangor, meeting at the gatehouse entrance of State St. between 10:30 and 10:45 a.m. and processing to grave site. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St. in Bangor, following the service.
