Patricia Ellis

WEEKI WACHEE, FL and BANGOR – Patricia “Pat” Ellis, 77 of Weeki Wachee, Florida passed away on January 4, 2015. Pat was born in Bangor, Maine in 1937 and lived in Brewer until she moved to Florida in 1991. She worked for fourteen years at the Bangor YWCA and fourteen years at McDowell Tour and Travel.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Hugh “Ed”, of Weeki Wachee; three children, Jeffrey E. Ellis and his wife, Virginia, of Bloomingdale, MI, Katherine A. Chiu and her husband, Fred, of Yarmouth, ME, and Kimberly J. Wienholt and her husband, Greg, of New Market, MD; four grandchildren: Justin Ellis, Kate Schmidgall, David Ellis and Hope Wienholt, and step brother Mark Macomber of St. Petersburg, FL, step sister Karen Thomas of Franklin, ME.

The family plans on holding a memorial service in Maine in the summer, at a date and time to be announced.
