Patricia A. (Pinkham) Rouleau, 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 13, 2023. Pat was born September 9, 1932, in West Enfield, the daughter of Donald J. and Charlotte C. (Thompson) Pinkham.
Patricia was a graduate of Stearns High School Class of 1950. She met Gary Rouleau the next year and they married in 1953. They were happily married for 66 years. Gary passed away in 2019.
She spent her life enjoying time with family. This included time at camp, picking blueberries, ice fishing, traveling, and riding with Gary on the Harley in their early years.
Pat was a caretaker at heart. She dedicated time caring for her grandmother Isabelle, her father Donald, her mother Charlotte, her mother-in-law Mary and her husband Gary in their final years.
Bottle Lake was a paradise for Pat and Gary. It became their year-round home in 1998. It was a gathering place for family and friends. These times together were legendary. Food and fun were the main focus. Pat was happiest when surrounded by her family. She was a great cook, with her shredded wheat bread being a family favorite. Everyone was lucky to be entertained by her stories, songs, and descriptions of her often vivid and imaginative dreams. The grandkids and great-grandkids were often special guests at camp. They all adored her.
She was a member of the Ladies Aid at the First Congregational Church in East Millinocket. She enjoyed lending a hand with this group.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Sue Rouleau; daughter, Debbie Foley and husband, Lawrence; son, Tony Rouleau and wife, Paula; grandchildren, Carri Tuulima and husband, Joseph, Angela Herrmann and husband, John, Kate Brown and husband, Josh, and Bryan Rouleau; great-grandchildren, Eryn, Lawrence and Joseph Tuulima, as well as Brooks Brown.
The family wants to thank Gentiva Hospice for their care and kindness in Pat's final days.
