Patricia A. (McCluskey) Turner, 86, wife of the late Leroy “Stinky” Turner, passed away Feb 2, 2021 at a local nursing facility. She was born in Bangor to Joseph and Elizabeth McCluskey on Dec 7, 1934 the youngest of nine children. Family was the most important thing in Pat’s life, from the early years at Taylor Field watching Little League Baseball. It was there that she made some of her lifelong friends. They raised their family on Kenduskeag Ave in Bangor which was the gathering spot for many holidays and pool gatherings. Pat was an avid beano player and could be seen at the VFW in Hampden every Friday night until she could no longer physically attend. She was also a member of the Y-Players.
She is predeceased by her husband , three sisters and four brothers. Surviving are one brother, Lawrence, her children Michael (Deborah) of Brewer, Patrick (Yvette) of Gorham, Jeannette (Tim and his daughter Tara) of Bangor and Daniel of Bangor. Her grandchildren, whom in her eyes could do no wrong, Lucas (Jess) of Bar Harbor, Melissa (Jim) of Windham, Kate (Ben) of Colorado, and Delaney (Emil) of Massachusetts along with six great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to call 4 pm to 6 pm Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor.
A Funeral Mass will be held 11 am Friday, February 12, 2021 at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. John’s Catholic Church, York St. Bangor. Those wishing to view a live tribute may do so by visiting www.stpaulbangor.me The Rite of committal will follow at Mt. Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor.
