Paul Joseph Cormier, 65, passed away December 24, 2020, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 19, 1955, in Bangor, the son of Emile and Marie (Charette) Cormier.
Paul graduated from Bangor High School in the Class of 1973. He served his country by enlisting in the Air Force in 1978 and retired from the Maine Air National Guard in 2012. Paul was a member of Elks Lodge #244 of Bangor. He loved traveling and photography. Paul was a hard-working man whose loyalty and friendship were valued by many. He loved his family and was proud of his 34 years serving his country.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Sandra (Bath) Cormier of Bangor; a daughter, Michelle Cormier of Bangor; grandchildren, Isabelle Howe and Christian Jamieson, both of Bangor; sisters, Theresa Cormier of Connecticut and companion Michael Paprocki, Collette Williams and husband Martin of Rhode Island; nephews, Jacques Williams, James Dixon and Thomas Dixon.
Services will be announced. Interment will be at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta.
