New London, New Hampshire, Bangor and Veazie – Paul E. Nadeau, 85, passed away July 10, 2019. He was born July 29, 1933, in Bangor, the son of Benno L. and Katherine (Laffey) Nadeau.
Paul graduated from Bangor High School, class of 1951. He went on to the University of Maine, graduating in 1955. After college, Paul served in the United States Army. He was an entrepreneur, having many businesses including The Chuck Wagon and The Drumstick. During retirement, Paul wintered in Florida, where he worked for the Pittsburg Pirates spring training.
Paul enjoyed fishing and flying, having obtained his private pilot’s license. Paul also loved to travel. Foremost he loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.
Paul is survived by his wife, Susan; sons, Joseph, and Stephen; daughters, Denise, Carolyn, and Melissa; and his beloved grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service 1:00 pm Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Lower Smyrna Cemetery, Smyrna Mills.
