HERMON – Perley Kimball Delano III, 61, passed away unexpectedly December 15, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at a Bangor hospital. He was born June 12, 1957 in Hastings, Nebraska the son of Perley K. Delano and Charlotte (Dickey) Delano.
Perley loved the outdoors and doing landscaping. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for eight years, serving two tours in Germany. He was then employed by the city of Bangor for 14 years. After which, he then started his own cleaning business and was self-employed for 20 years.
In addition to his mother, Perley is survived by his wife, Kelly Delano, special son, Patrick Delano; brother, Glenn Delano of Millinocket; sisters, Penni J. Hill of Hudson, and Wanda Taylor of Weston. He also leaves behind his two black labs, Bear and Tucker who were his companions. He was predeceased by his father, a baby brother and sister.
