Phyllis Elizabeth Mason

LEVANT- Phyllis Elizabeth Mason, 85, passed away October 10, 2020 at a Bangor hospital. She was born March 19, 1935 in New Sharon the daughter of Fred Almond and Viola (Richardson) Townsend. Phyllis loved to crochet and she made many blankets for family and friends. She was a member of the Levant Grange, Senior Citizen’s and TOPS. In her younger years she enjoyed sewing clothing for her children and making doll clothes for her grandchildren. The homemade clothing would often be passed down to other members of the family. She loved to spoil her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Phyllis was “Gram” to many more than just her own grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Elwood Almond Mason; sisters, Joyce Snow and Donna Townsend. She is survived by two brothers, Darrell and Donald Townsend; sister, Glenda Savage; four sons, Dennis Mason and his wife, Cecelia of Bucksport, Carl Mason and his wife, Brenda of Levant, Fred Mason and his wife, Nancy of Levant, Kenneth Mason and his wife, Ronna of Levant; daughter, Melissa Musinski and her husband Joseph of Hudson; grandchildren, Phillip, Jessica, Stephanie, Paul, Jennifer, Fred III, Travis, Destiny, Nicole, Joseph, Sara, and Robert; great grandchildren, Natalie, Carter, Alexis, Fred IV, Danielle, Zachary, Beau, Payton, Alexander, Viola, and Wyatt; Those who wish to remember Phyllis in a special way may make gifts in her memory to the Iris Network, 45 Oak Street, Suite 1, Bangor, Maine, 04401.
