Phyllis Ann Williams, 80, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2023, at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born January 9, 1943, in Bangor, the daughter of Wallace “Wally” and Madeline (Mogan) Tanner.
Phyllis was proud of working at the Brewer Center for health and Rehabilitation retiring with 32 years of employment. She was a devout Catholic throughout her life. Phyllis loved to play Bingo with her aunts and cousins. Her passion in life was being a loving mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was an excellent cook, everyone loved her spaghetti and lasagna. She was always kind, generous, selfless and devoted to her family. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her children; Michelle Cobb and husband Timothy of Bangor, Ronald Williams Jr. of Hampden, Deborah Williams of Glenburn; a very special grandson, Ronald Williams III; a sister-in-law, Gay Kulberda of Linden, NJ; and many cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband Ronald Williams in 2001.
A Mass of Christion Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 768 Ohio Street, Bangor, followed by the Rite of Committal at Mt. Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor. Following the Committal Prayers, relatives and friends are welcome to share conversation and refreshments at the Parish Hall of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
