Holden - Rev. Dr. Randall Chretien, 74, went to be with the Lord on November 18, 2021. He was born on March 6, 1947, in Rumford, the son of Dona and Violet (Brooks) Chretien.
Randy took great pride in serving many churches throughout the state within the Methodist church.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Michael Chretien.
Randy is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Carolyn (Melville) Chretien; two sons, Jeremy Chretien and his wife, Deborah, and Jeff Chretien and his wife, Amanda; four grandchildren, Matthew, Bailey, Cody, and Caden.
He is also survived by Matt and Nancy Brooks; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 22, 2021 at the First United Methodist Church, 703 Essex St., Bangor with Dr. Steve Smith, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, Bangor and the Corinth United Methodist Church, officiating. Face coverings are mandatory within the church regardless of vaccination status.

The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments in the church fellowship hall immediately following the service.
