It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Rashawn Vile on March 18, 2024. He was born in Bangor on May 20th, 2003, the son of Ashley Vile of Skowhegan and grandson of Robin and Bob Vile of Dixmont. He loved and adored his sisters, Elliana Morency and Violet Holmes, who fondly called him ‘bruhber’, and his brother, Legend VanCassele. He had an amazing connection with his best friend, Gabbie Kyes, and bud, Billy Lewis. Rashawn is the great grandson of Robert Erskine, and nephew to Joshua Vile and his wife, Anna, as well as William Vile and his wife, Erin. He is loved by many great aunts, uncles, and cousins. Greeting him in heaven will be his great grandmother, Sonia Erskine. He always enjoyed family gatherings and will be greatly missed.
Rashawn graduated from MCI, Class of 2021. While attending MCI, he received certifications in Culinary Arts. Following graduation, he continued with his love of cooking while working at the Pour House and then Governors, both in Bangor. He enjoyed movies, music, and his bass guitar.
Relatives and friends are invited to help us celebrate his life at the Dixmont Snowmobile Clubhouse, 31 Cates Road, Dixmont, Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 2 -4:00 PM.
