Raymond Gagne

December 8, 1971 — July 13, 2023

Raymond E Gagne III, passed away unexpectedly on July 13th, 2023. He was only 51 years old. His family is deeply saddened by his sudden death. Raymond was born on December 8th, 1971.

Raymond is survived by his mother Gail Gagne; his children, Tyler Gagne (27) and his wife Taylor Gagne, Xavier Gagne (26), Harley Vilasuso (24) and her husband Daniel Vilasuso, and Joseph Gagne (23). Raymond will be forever remembered by his siblings Christina Gagne and her spouse Rob Keresey, Reggie Tyler, and his wife Valerie Tyler, as well as his many nieces and nephews.

Raymond was predeceased by his father Raymond Gagne II, and his brother Benjamin Tyler.

Raymond was born in Oswego, New York, and graduated from Nokomis High School in Newport, Maine. Raymond loved four things above everything else: His family, the Dallas Cowboys, fishing, and poker. Raymond was a proud father and would brag about his kids to anyone. He loved his children with every ounce of his being. Raymond attended almost every family gathering because he always wanted to see everyone. However, when he did arrive, he was usually wearing one, sometimes two, articles of clothing showing his support for “America’s Team,” the Dallas Cowboys. Thanksgiving, Christmas, a birthday party, or a family photo shoot… He wore the Dallas Cowboy’s Star almost everywhere he went. Raymond loved to fish. He enjoyed the sport on a boat and on shore - it didn’t matter if it was to eat or catch and release. Raymond knew how to catch fish like the best of them, however he never could catch a break at the poker table. He loved the game of poker. He enjoyed playing with family and friends.

Raymond had a genuine smile that was contagious to everyone around him. He could light up any room even with a smirk. Raymond was kind and passionate. Raymond has left a mark on many people in this world, and if you are one of them, you are lucky.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a cause that was near and dear to Raymond’s heart. Please see the link below to donate:
