Regina Chase

Hampden - Regina R. Chase, 52, died after a brave battle with cancer November 23, 2016, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 18, 1964, in Bangor, the daughter of Clayton and Patricia (Doherty) Getchell. Regina graduated from Hampden Academy, class of 1982. She married John Chase October 12, 1985, and worked at St. Joseph Hospital in Bangor for many years. Regina was an angel on earth who loved John, Drew, and Billy deeply. To know Gina was to know love. She was a friend to everyone she met. She was the love of John' s life and will be deeply missed. Regina was predeceased by her father. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, John Chase of Hampden; son Drew Chase and girlfriend Pam Caldwell of Hampden, son Billy Chase of Westbrook; mother Pat Getchell of Newburgh; sisters Cindy Getchell of Newburgh, and Delia Scripture of Carmel; brother Kenny Getchell and wife Beth of Newburgh; special sister and brother-in-law Scott and Neta Lingley of Dedham; special friends Dave and Lynne Veinote of Hampden, and Brian and Lori Strout of Bangor.
