Richard Carlisle

EDDINGTON - Richard Alan Carlisle, 66, left us unexpectedly on February 8, 2025. He was born July 3, 1958, in Bangor, to Bernard and Dorothy (Pinkham) Carlisle.

Richard has been a lifetime resident of Bangor. In his youth, he loved to roller skate and was a Skate Guard at the Brewer Roller Rink for several years. He spent summers enjoying the lake with family at camp on Lucerne. He loved to play cards and spend time with his parents and siblings, as much as he could. He graduated from Bangor High School, Class of 1978.

In his later years, Richard started a cleaning business, RC Cleaning, that he ran with his son. He loved spending time with his children and especially enjoyed rough housing with his grandchildren. He loved to laugh and always had jokes and sarcasm to share. His favorite pastime was sitting in the backyard by the fire; the bigger the fire, the better.

In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by two brothers, Bernard "BJ" Carlisle Jr. and Jerry "David" Carlisle. He is survived by 5 brothers, Donald Frances, William Carlisle, Bruce Carlisle, Arthur Carlisle and Leland "Buster" Carlisle and wife, Judy; his children, Harmony Fahey, Rebecca Carlisle-Starling, Brian Carlisle and Laura Carlisle; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
