Robert H. Blastow
Robert Hollis Blastow, passed away May 6, 2024 at Maine Veteran’s Home, Bangor.
It was a peaceful passing and his sister, Kathy Flagg and brother, Clifford Blastow were there to comfort him.
Robert was a Christmas baby born on December 25, 1950 to Hollis E. and Barbara (Elwell) Blastow.
Robert grew up in Thomaston. He graduated from Georges Valley High School then went on to graduate from Beal College, Bangor.
He spent 19 years in the US Army, stationed in South Korea and Washington State. He loved his church and also loved his sister and nephews dogs, and the dogs loved him.
He is survived by his sister, Kathy Flagg and his brother Clifford Blastow and his wife, Cindy; three nieces, several grandnieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Maine Veteran’s Home for their kindness and compassion to Robert and his family.
