Roger Ricker

Roger Ricker, 69, passed away after a long battle with COPD on December 12, 2024, in his Corinna, Maine home.

He was born on March 1, 1955, in Bangor, Maine to Douglas Ricker and Sally (Dow) Mendivil.

Roger graduated from Nokomis Regional High School in 1973. Roger loved to hunt and fish, but he will be remembered most of all for his talent and passion for playing guitar and singing in his band. Roger's quick wit and humor will be remembered fondly and sadly missed by many. 

Roger is survived by his brother, Russell Ricker of Biddeford; son, Marc Ricker of Corinna; daughter, Rachel Carleton of Carmel; grandson, Dustin Ricker of Corinna; and granddaughter, Olivia Carleton of Carmel. He was pre-deceased by his grandparents, Herbert Dow Sr. and Carmen Dow; his parents, Douglas Ricker, and Sally Mendivil; sister, Debora Ricker; and Grandson, Noah Ricker.

There will be no funeral at this time, but there will be a celebration of life to remember Roger at the Barrows Skidgel American Legion Post 105, 82 North Street, Newport Maine on May 17, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.
