Roland Dwayne Curtis, Sr., 45, died July 20, 2013, with his family by his side, after a long battle with cancer. He was born October 27, 1967 in Bangor, son of Grover C. and Marie (Ward)
Curtis. He owned and operated Roland Curtis Nursery and Landscaping. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family.
He was predeceased by a sister Nettie and his mother.
Surviving are five sons, Roland , Jr., Jeremy, Jonathan, Jordan and Jacob; five grandchildren;
four brothers, Grover III, Mike, Rodney and Darrell; three sisters, Darlene, Sharon and Sheila.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday July 24, 2013, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St. Bangor, where relatives and friends are invited to visit 1 pm until time of service at 2pm.
