Ronald Albert “Ron / Ronnie” Reynolds Sr., 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 11, 2024. Ronnie was born in Hampden on June 15, 1934 to Greta (Drinkwater) and Victor Reynolds. He was the oldest of five brothers and one sister.
Ronnie was wed to Donna (Shannon) on January 11, 1956. They were married for sixty-eight years. Residing in Hermon they raised five children, Ronald Jr., Kimberly, Jeffrey, Johnny, and Carolyn.
Ronnie worked for Pleasant Hill Dairy in Hermon for 38 years. He also worked for Hancock County Creamery in Ellsworth and then Sunquip in Hermon, retiring in 1999. He later “worked” for Pine Tree Machine in Hermon.
Ronnie enjoyed time spent visiting with family and friends, hunting and fishing, spending time at hunting camp, and playing cards. He was a 59-year member of the Odd Fellows Triumph Lodge in Hemon. Ronnie was recognized in 1985 for starting boys little league in Hermon. He also served as a Cub Scout Master when his boys were young.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Donna; brother Jim Reynolds and his wife, Gaynor; children, Ronnie Jr. and his wife Debbie, Kimberly and her husband Dan, Jeff and his wife Kimm, and Carolyn and her husband Eric.
Proud Gramp / Papa to Amy, Jeffrey, Eric, Kristi, Jason, Jodi, Lisa, Haley, and Allison, and to their spouses and significant others. Proud Great Grand Papa to Kelsie, Kali, Kole, Keagan, Khloe, Emma, Bryson and Victoria. Ronnie is survived by a large extended family each of whom he loved.
He was predeceased by brothers Terry, Denny, and Stevie; sister Roberta; and infant son Johnny.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. The family invites relatives and friends to call from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
