Rose Martin, 84, passed away peacefully July 15, 2020 at Orono Commons. She was born November 18, 1935 in Brewer.
Rose worked many years at Bangor Mental Health Institute. She Graduated from Brewer High School in 1954. She loved going to the beach sun-tanning herself, camping and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Rose was predeceased by her husband, Harvey Richard Martin (Dick). She and Dick raised their five children together in Bangor on 14th Street. Rose is also predeceased by her mother, Florence McEachern, of Brewer; and a brother, Robert Blanchard.
Rose is survived by her five children, Randy Kenney and his wife, Susan, of Orrington, Ricky Martin and his wife, Torrie, of Stetson, Robin Walker, of Orrington, Ranea Price, of Bangor and Rae Ann Rice and her significant other, Kenric Holmes, of Hermon; sister, Betty Smart, of Old Town; and brother, Raymond Blanchard, of Orrington. Rose is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Family was very important to Rose.
A graveside service will be private for the family.
