BANGOR - Rosemary T. Gallant, 86, passed away peacefully February 9, 2021, at the Maine Veterans' Home, Bangor. She was born April 1, 1934, in Bangor, the daughter of Francis M. and Beatrice (Pray) Rivers.
Rosemary graduated from John Bapst Memorial High School before becoming a desk clerk at the Bangor House Hotel. She enjoyed playing bingo and cribbage, as well as dancing at the Eagles Club in Brewer.
She is survived by her son, Scott Tripp and his wife, Ivy; granddaughter, Kaydence Tripp.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband of 34 years, Thomas F. Gallant; children, Vicky and Bobby Royal.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Maine Veterans' Home, Bangor, and Kindred Hospice, for the compassionate care they provided to Rosemary.
A private committal service will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bangor. The family will notify loved ones in the future when the service is scheduled.
