Roshain K. Ferguson
Brewer-Bangor
Roshain K. Ferguson, 32, died unexpectedly July 22, 2019.
Roshain was born to Angella Fearron and Leon Ferguson on September 29, 1986 born in Port Antonio, Jamaica. Roshain spent his childhood years living with his parents and siblings in Stanton, Fellowship Jamaica where he made numerous lifelong friends. In his late teens, he along with his family moved to West Retreat, Fellowship where he made many friends and met his former wife Khalia Berry with whom he shares a beautiful son Roshaun Ferguson. Shain migrated to America in 2013 to join his family. He then moved to Maine to live with his favorite aunt “aunty Nadine” and later on; he met the love of his life and life partner Bobbi Jo Pound with whom he shares a beautiful daughter Amelia Grace Ferguson. Those who knew Shain can recall the inseparable bond he had with his children; having his daughter Amelia with him everywhere he went. His son Roshaun was with him every chance he got and on holidays it was the three of them together. He loved his family and it showed. He looked forward to and enjoyed the relaxing summer days with his South Twin family. There you could find him sitting on the dock, or on the back of the boat fishing from sunrise to sunrise. He was so proud to share his life and his culture with his family. He left a permanent mark on the lives of everyone he met.
Roshain is remembered by everyone for his infectious laughter and smile, and how respectful he was to the young and old alike. He was helpful to everyone around and he had a passion for cooking, cars and motorcycles. Shain was a free spirit and liked to take life in strides. He was outgoing and adventurous, he loved partying with friends and then quality time with his family. To Bobbi and Amelia, he was everything; best friend, partner, and loving father. To His Aunty Nadine, he was more than a son; he was her backbone, her rock and someone she could depend on for anything. To his cousins and friends he was a big brother they could look up to. To his siblings he was the most loving brother anyone could ask for.
“Only a moment you stayed, but what an imprint your footprints have left on all our hearts.”
