Ruth (Hall) Griffin

Ruth Griffin, 81, passed away February 16, 2021 at a Bangor hospital. She was born in Vienna Maine, September 24, 1939 the daughter of Merton W and Esther (Kohtola) Hall.
Ruth graduated from Farmington High School in 1957 and worked in shoe shops and later at Husson College, Bangor.
After her marriage she attended church and taught Sunday School and Jr. church with her husband.
She was predeceased by her parents, a brother, Ikie Hall and a sister, June Hall.
Surviving are four sons, Galen “Pete” Griffin, Jr. of Levant, Danny Griffin and wife, Gauyan of North Polo. AK., Jeff Griffin and his wife, Helen of Washington, Bobby Hall and his wife, Janice of Standish; a daughter, Marjorie White and her husband, Gary of South Carolina.
Many thanks to all of Ruth’s friends who went above and beyond to help her over the past years. A special thanks to Brewer Rehab for their very good care of Ruth and her roommate Barbara Ring for her friendship.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at Waugh Cemetery, Levant.
