Ruth Anne Price finished her earthly journey and was promoted to her heavenly home on March 14, 2025. Her beloved niece and caregiver, Mary (Bingham) Anderson, and great-great-niece Brittany Greenlaw, were with her in her final moments.
Ruth was born on January 5, 1940, in Dayton, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Cecil and Lillian (Magill) Price. Also preceding her in death were her siblings: David, James (Jim), Earl (Billy), Robert (Bobby) Price, Kathleen (Kathy) Price Dunkle , Dolores Price Bingham, and Charlotte Price Bingham.
In her early adulthood, Ruth was called into Christian ministry, and served faithfully for nearly forty years as a Home Missionary for the United Pentecostal Church International: First, assisting at a church in Tohatchi, New Mexico, with outreach to the Native American (Navajo) population; and then, assisting at a church in Eloy, Arizona, with a Children's Ministry. Eternity will surely reveal the lives she impacted with The Gospel.
After retiring from active missionary work, Ruth moved to Sunnyvale, California, where she taught in a preschool which she helped found.
After complete retirement, she moved to Maine to be closer to her sisters.
Ruth was known and cherished for her ability to show the love of God to those who needed Him desperately. She knew, and could quote, much of The Holy Bible, and owned many copies of her "favorite book".
She will be remembered for her many talents in music, teaching, art, and writing. She left behind many beautiful sketches and writings which showcased her gifts.
Ruth will be remembered, and sadly missed, by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends, who will testify of her devotion and service to her Lord and Savior.
To honor Ruth's request, there will be no formal remembrance service.
