Ruth was raised in Glenburn and was a graduate of Bangor High School class of 1979.
Surviving are her life partner, Bruce Knights and his children, Ben, Jerricka and her daughter, Alaleh ; brothers, Gordon and wife Lisa, Norman and wife Crystal; special aunt and cousin Jeanette and Valarie Leeman; special nephew Mike Simmons, Drew and Vaughn Simmons; nieces Amber and Heather Simmons.
