BANGOR
Sally G. Wilson, 64, passed away peacefully April 5th, 2024. She was born November 9th, 1959, the daughter of Eugene E. and Mary E. (Drake) Wilson.
An insightful and caring woman with an unassuming personality, Sally was valued by family and friends for her sage advice and for being a comforting "sounding board" in those times when one simply needed someone to listen. While she enjoyed a quiet lifestyle, Sally made friends easily. Her apartment building neighbors will greatly miss their porch front conversations with Sally.
Following her college experience, Sally lived in a few Maine communities before settling for a time in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, where she worked as a bookkeeper for a car dealership. Sally moved back to Maine and lived with a friend in York for a short time before moving to Bangor a few years ago to be closer to family members.
Sally is survived by her father Eugene and her brother, Bruce Wilson. In addition to her mother Mary, she is predeceased by her aunt Reta, uncle Arnold and her cousin Michelle.
