Samuel E. “Sam” Sides, 91, died peacefully November 17, 2021. Sam was born on April 9, 1930 in Crystal Station, Maine. He was the beloved son of Gilbert and Madonna (Tozier) Sides.
Sam graduated from Sherman High School. He was a proud graduate of the University of Maine, Orono, where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Engineering in 1951. Sam continued his relationship with the University of Maine, Orono, where he was an Associate Professor of Agricultural Engineering until he retired.
Sam is survived by many relatives and friends throughout Eastern and Northern Maine.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, November 22, 2021 at Sherman Cemetery on the Golden Ridge Road with Pastor Dana Rioux officiating.
