Charleston – Sandra Jean (Willett) Durgan, 71, died June 10, 2019 at a Bangor Nursing Facility. She was born October 28, 1947, in Portland, the daughter of Philip and Elsie (Verrill) Willett.
Sandra attended Exeter Consolidated School and graduated from East Corinth Academy in 1964. She had lived in both Maine and Florida during her life.
Sandra is survived by her father, Philip Willett of Florida; three children, John Bassett, Stephen Bassett, and Victoria Jones; sisters, Lynda Willett and Robyn Bowden, both of Florida; granddaughter, Donna Wiggett and great granddaughter, Charlotte Wiggett; nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her mother, Elsie Willett.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor with the Rev. Dr. Rex H. Garrett, officiating. Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com
