Sandra "Sandi" Hodgins, 74, died peacefully January 10, 2015 at a Bangor hospital. She was born September 1, 1940 in Bath, daughter of Clifford Moison and Phyllis Moison Worster.
Sandi survived polio, after spending several weeks in an iron lung at the age of 14.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Sandi had a wonderful sense of humor.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dalton Hodgins, Sr., a baby sister and her stepfather, Lewis McTague.
Surviving are her stepmother, Tina Moison of Bath; brother-in-law, Paul Hodgins of Holden; two sons, Dalton R. Hodgins, Jr. and his wife, Teresa of Brewer, David R. Hodgins and his wife Lee, of Bangor; one daughter, Cheryl A. Hodgins of Brewer; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Brian, Jessica, Andrea, Nicholas and Joseph; two great grandchildren, Kane and Victoria; two dear friends, Ruthie and Barbara.
Relatives and friends are invited to call 5-7 p.m. Thursday January 15, 2015 at the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 South Main St. Brewer, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday January 16, 2015. Spring interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Clifton. The family invites folks to share conversation and refreshments at the Brookings-Smith, Reception Rooms, 55 South Main St., following the service Friday.
