Sandra Stevenson

BANGOR & HAMPDEN – Sandra Joan (Woodbury) Perkins-Stevenson, 75, passed away October 9, 2018, at her home, in Hampden, surrounded by her family. She was born March 23, 1943, in Bangor, the second daughter of Eugene and Edith (Jellison) Woodbury.

Sandra attended schools in Bangor. Following school, she worked for the local shoe factories for many years. After the shoe factories in the area closed, Sandra then worked for Hannaford at the Airport Mall in Bangor in the bakery department for 17 years.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Karen Stevenson; grandson, Tyler Perkins; sister, Patty Ouellette; brothers-in-law, Clovis Ouellette, Jon Houston, Richard Lizotte, and Richard Stevenson. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Kenneth Stevenson; children, Allen Perkins and wife, Michelle of Merrimac, MA, Kenneth Stevenson Jr. and wife, Darlene of Hampden, Kimberly Stevenson of Hampden; 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Gena Houston, and Cheryl Lizotte; 1 niece; and 4 nephews.
