Scott A. Brown passed away March 2, 2020 from complications of Alzheimer’s at the age of 62.
Scott aka Scotty B, SB, Down Town Scotty Brown, and most endearing “Mugga Head” was born on May 12, 1957 to Marilyn Brown and Leland Brown.
He spent his entire life surrounded by a family that loved and treasured him. He blessed us with his countless, wonderful ways. The shenanigans were endless. He made a memorable impression where ever his journey took him. He celebrated each and every holiday with zest and excitement, keeping us all young at heart. With some of his favorites being Easter Egg Hunts with squirt guns, birthday cakes with candles lit several times and St. Patrick’s day at Geaghans.
Scott attended the Children’s Opportunity Center in Brewer during his youth. Later he attended Penobscot Valley Industries and Amicus in Bangor where he enjoyed his days with his peeps and the wonderful staff that loved and supported him. He participated in the Maine Special Summer and Winter Olympics, where he collected many medals.
Scott was predeceased by his beloved mom, Marilyn and his treasured sister Bindy, of whom he adored, his nephew Benjamin Tardiff and niece Katie Shaw.
He is survived by his dad Leland Brown, sister Denise Shaw, her husband Joe, their son Matthew; brother-in-law Tom Palmer, nephew Tommy Tardiff, wife Morgan and their two daughters Sophie and Sydney and niece Molly Palmer.
The family would like to thank and feel forever grateful to Lee Residential for their outstanding love and support given to Scotty during the last few years of his life.
