Sharon C. Hogan (Beede), 79 , passed away peacefully April 24th, 2023. She was born July 16th, 1943, the daughter of Elbridge and Villa Beede.
Sharon graduated from Bangor High and then Husson College. She was a x-ray technician for many years and enjoyed her work immensely. She was a spitfire and had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed riding in the convertible with her hair in the wind while listening to Elvis. She enjoyed watching sports; the Red Sox, the Patriots, and stock car racing. She loved her cats and dogs, always seen wearing a sweatshirt with kittens on it. She loved to dance, and also was enjoyed fishing. Sharon’s biggest loves were her children, her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren. She was a beloved gram and will be missed dearly.
She is survived by her sister, Ann Theriault; her sons; Keith Durah and wife, Wendy, Randy Hogan and partner, Deborah Mitchell, and Steven Hogan; her grandchildren; grandson, Chuck Hogan and wife, Nicole, granddaughter, Heather Jordan and husband, Steve, grandson, Chris Hogan and wife, Kristen, granddaughter, Abby Durah and husband, Ian, granddaughter, Brianna Webber and husband, Randy, and granddaughter, Allie Hogan; her great-grandchildren; Remington, Brantley, Maverick, Mackenzie, Madison, Magnolia, Everleigh. In addition to being predeceased by her parents, she is predeceased by her loving husband, Linwood F “Papa” Hogan.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, May 11th, 2023, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor, with an internment following at Milford Cemetery, in Milford. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Elks Lodge, 37 Fourth Street, Old Town, following the graveside. Those who wish to remember Sharon in a special way may make donations to the Animal Orphanage in Old Town, PO Box 565, Orono, ME 04473.
