Sharon Gail McKenney, 77, passed away on April 04, 2020 at Westgate Manor in Bangor. She was born in Old Town, the daughter of Wendell and Virgie (Reynolds) Giles.
Her marriage into the Air Force brought her to many states, but eventually back to Maine, where she lived out her life. She was a resident of The Bangor House for many years, where she also volunteered. She loved country music and dancing,and was a member of the Tops Program and attended The Baptist St. Church.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Jeff McKenney and brother, Richard Giles.
She is survived by her daughters, Brenda McKenney of Ma. and Deborah McKenney of FL, son, Robert McKenney of Maine; sister, Wendy Rose, who cared for her for many years; two brothers Larry and Allen Giles, one nephew Steve, all from Maine; two grandchildren, Justin from Ca. and Amber from FL, and two great grandchildren.
