Hermon - Sharron L. Watson "Nan" passed unexpectedly at home at the age of 80 on February 9th, 2025. She was born on 1-2-1945 in Ellsworth, ME daughter to Frank and Geneva Lounder.
Nan had many passions from collecting her Longaberger baskets (you could call her a basket case), cooking and baking to feed an army when it might only be 3 or 4 people (you couldn't leave her house hungry), knitting, sewing, watching her family at different events and many, many other passions. Her pride and joy were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, though it could be argued that the two cats she rescued were her favorite "children."
Sharron was predeceased by her parents Frank and Geneva, her brother Chet, her sister Rebecca and Rebecca's husband Allen, her first husband and father of her children John Armitage Sr., and her second husband Wilbur Watson.
To keep her legacy going she leaves behind her son, John Armitage Jr. and wife, Kim; daughter, Karen Sperrey and spouse, Kevin; her grandchildren, Adam Armitage and fiancé, Rosa, Nicholas Armitage, Jamie-Lynn Guiffrida and husband, Joseph, Sasha Hancock and husband, Jordan; great-grandchildren, Rylan, Jazzlyn, Ryanne, Lyliana, Ryker, Parkerlyn, Karson, Sammie, and Paulie; her siblings, Linda Roy (Dean) and Susan Paulsen (Harold) and numerous nieces and nephews; step-children, Yvette Michaud, Billy Watson, and Heather Watson. And a very special person who she considered a granddaughter, Mercedes J. Butts plus special friends, Beverly Tapley and Betty Scott who she considered sisters.
There will be a gathering sometime in the summer.
