Sheila (Webber) Hartt

July 6, 1933 — October 23, 2024

Carmel - Sheila (Webber) Hartt, 91, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on October 23, 2024. She was born in Carmel, July 6, 1933 the daughter of John C. and Georgianna (Hibbard) Webber.
She was valedictorian of her class of 1951 from Hermon High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society.

Sheila was co-owner with her husband, Delmont of Hartt Transportation Systems, Inc. Sheila was a stay-at-home mother while working in the family business from home and taking wonderful, loving care of her children.
Sheila and family were blessed with wonderful caregivers over the last few years, Lacey, Emily and Mandy Willett, Jean Wood, Abby Churchill, Suzy Hamlin, Angel Harley, Sherry Arsenault and special friends, Doug Lovejoy and Sue Fitz; a very special caregivers’ baby, Noa Treadwell, and canine guardian, Willow.

Surviving are her four children, Michael Hartt and his wife, Mary of Hampden, Deborah Swan and her husband Robert of Corea, Judith Hartt and companion, Paul Rogerson of Carmel, William Hartt and wife, Robina of Carmel; grandchildren, Dale Hartt, Dennis Lovely, Jessica Lovely, twins, William and Benjamin Hartt, Leo and Eddie Bintabara; two great grandsons, Orion Hartt and Chase Joler; one great granddaughter, Myleigha Lovely; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Florence Gray.

A memorial service will be held 3 pm. Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St, Bangor.
Private burial will be at the North Carmel Cemetery.
