SHELLEY ANN YOUNG
HERMON - Shelley Ann Young, 64, passed away February 18, 2020, with her family by her side at a Bangor hospital. She was born January 11, 1956, daughter of the late Benjamin Young and Bessie Fowler.
Shelley graduated from Old Town High School, and later in life proudly from the University of Maine Orono, working most recently in health information technology. Over the years, she enjoyed: painting, wood burning, crocheting, music, dancing, and time spent with family. She raised three children together with their father in a home filled with life and abundant in love. Shelley treasured her children and grandchildren more than anything else in life -embracing every moment together, blessing them all with pure unconditional love. Her sense of humor was unmatched, and we can still hear her laughter in our memories.
Shelley is survived and forever remembered by her children and grandchildren: Jennifer Doucette, and her husband, Robert; children Keera, Kaden, Justin, Sarah, RJ, and Eli; Wayne Keeran, and his wife, Lynn; children Leilani and Taylor; Kari Starbird, and her husband, Brock; child Kamren; siblings Elaine Lepage, Allen Young, Gary Young, Robin Johnson, and Ben Young; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, family and friends too numerous to list but not forgotten.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by and now reunited in heaven with her siblings, Brenda Mueller and Roger Young; and grandchild, Cullen.
A spring interment will be held at the Alton Cemetery in Alton, Maine on a date to be determined.
