Sherry Denise Ward, 52, passed away unexpectedly on February 8, 2016, at EMMC after a brief illness. She was born October 29, 1963, in El Campo, TX.
Sherry was employed at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital in Ellsworth as an ICU technician until 2009, and spent her last years in Otis, ME with her fiancé Sean O’Neill and her beloved husky, Max. She leaves behind her eldest daughter Latisha Johnson and 2 grandchildren Jonyele and Jharius of Houston, TX; and her youngest daughter Lakesha Shelton of Bangor, and many family members and friends who loved her smile and her beautiful soul. Sherry’s presence lit up any room she entered, she loved gospel music, traveling, camping, spending time cooking for those she adored and everyone loved her Pig Cake and sweet potato pies.
