Shirley Ann Wozneak, 70, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 16, 2019, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family at her home in Hudson. She was born October 6, 1948, in Bangor the daughter of Clifford and Nettie M. (Archer) Curtis.

Shirley was a very kind hearted women who enjoyed the simple things in life. She liked to go hunting, fishing, playing cards, yard saling was an avid Bingo player, and loved cooking meals for anyone who could eat them. Shirley had a gift of finding humor in about anything and bringing a smile to people’s face. She was always up for a crazy adventure, and left many fun memories. Doing for and giving to others was important to her. Always finding little treasures and thinking of others, was her way of showing her love, care, thoughtfulness and making them feel good that she was their friend. The past several years through her sickness she had a tremendous will power to be with her friends and family and continue doing the things she loved. The heartwarming relationships that were built between her and caregivers during her time of sickness became special to not only her, but her family as well. More than anything she loved her family, adored her grandchildren, and will be sadly missed.
