Stephanie Seavey

August 22, 1972 — December 31, 2016

Brewer - Stephanie Anne (Bohm) Seavey passed peacefully into the arms of her loving Savior on December 31, 2016, at Brewer Rehabilitation Facility, with family by her side. She was born in Inglewood, California on August 22, 1972 to James and Anne (Dinsmore) Bohm. Stephanie was a graduate of the Bangor High School class of 1990, and went on to earn her associate degree from Eastern Maine Community College. Steph married the love of her life, Christopher Seavey, on May 15, 1999. Chris and Steph fought side by side when she was diagnosed with liver disease. They were joined in this fight by many other warriors, two of whom, Gayle and Tyke, were willing to give selflessly of themselves to allow us to have more time with Steph. For twelve years after her transplant, Steph fought to stay with us, and she had many more warriors that would support her in this fight. Her mother, Anne, was by her side daily until her own death in 2008. Her cousin Sarah and her husband Winston provided love and support during those many trips to Boston. Ethel, Yong, Josephine and many others from Columbia Street Baptist Church visited Steph faithfully over these many years. Desirea and Mikayla have taken special care of Steph and have given Chris love and support through these last few years Special thanks to the staff of the Brewer Rehabilitation for their wonderful and loving care of Steph. Stephanie was predeceased by her mother Anne Bohm and her father-in-law Keith Seavey. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Christopher Seavey, her father, James D. Bohm, her brother, James W.
